Basic Keelboat Sailing A beginning class, designed to teach adults with little or no sailing experience to safely sail a keelboat about 20-25' in local waters in moderate conditions in the daytime. Complete standard here. Classes offered all Season from May 1 until late August, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 6-9 pm, 5 classes per session. See schedule page for more details and availability.  Cost $295, $245 with Yaquina Bay Yacht Club membership.  Class size 2-3 people. Basic Coastal Cruising Teaches you to skipper a sloop-rigged auxiliary powered (outboard or inboard engine) keelboat of approximately 25-35' length by day in moderate wind and sea conditions.  Basic Keelboat is prerequisite.  Complete standard here. Will be scheduled when at least two students interested.  Cost $295 pp, 2-3 per class.

Bareboat Chartering (Intermediate Coastal Cruising) An advanced cruising standard for individuals with cruising experience. Graduates can act as skipper or crew of a 30-50' boat sailing by day in coastal waters.   Includes working knowlege of boat systems and maintenance procedures.   Complete standard here.   Scheduled when at least two students interested.  cost $295 pp, 2-4 per class.

Introductory Sail A two-hour sail for fun or to find out if sailing lessons are for you.  can count as first lesson of Basic Keelboat, and cost ($50/pp) may be deducted from lessons.  Ask for more details. Can be scheduled any available time.

Private Instruction On your boat or mine, hourly charge. Any topics from boat handling to diesel maintenance. Scheduled when time available, mostly weekends.

Other Services Consulting, deliveries, pre-purchase inspections of your possible new boat, etc.  Cost negotiable.
